Her love for coaching started in high school as a recreational gymnastics coach that transitioned into other coaching opportunities at the competitive level. Shortly thereafter, Alyssa found her passion for strength and conditioning and pursued more education and experience in the field. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science, is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS/NSCA) and will have her Master’s in Educational Leadership at the end of this year (Dec. 2022). In addition to her valued S&C experience and education, Alyssa has also taught several weight training and strength and conditioning undergraduate courses, where she’s been able to find further satisfaction in sharing her passion and knowledge with others.

Alyssa excels in teaching and coaching clients on Olympic, compound, and accessory movements, and prioritizes injury prevention with program adaptations via appropriate modification or progression, where needed, to build a strong foundation that allows for continual progression. She believes in the continuous education and growth of herself and her clients and will go above and beyond in providing insight into when and why certain exercises are implemented, giving her clients the tools needed to crush their training goals.
